CERTIFICATION OVERVIEW

●     Before attending an icon course, stylists must successfully complete the foundational course.

●     Successfully complete an icon course and collect the corresponding badge.

●     Instead of certificates, The Mona Cut Academy issues badges. Wear it or place it on your workstation!

●     To receive a badge, stylists must demonstrate skills acquired in the icon course by submitting a portfolio of two successful cuts for review. Video is optional.

●     Be added to The Mona Cut Academy Stylist Directory once you’ve received a badge!

●     Collect all five icons to become certified.  

●     Certified stylists have the opportunity to shoot a creative portfolio at The Mona Cut Studio!

PAYMENT PLAN

A payment plan is available for those who prefer to pay course fees in installments. We currently offer Afterpay or Klarna as options. Please note that no discount or coupon code is applicable when using the payment plans.

REFUND POLICY

Course fees paid to The Mona Cut Academy are non-refundable.

CANCELLATION + RESCHEDULING POLICY

Students must make rescheduling updates at least 14 days before the scheduled course date. All course fees paid can be credited towards a future class offering. Credit will be valid for up to 18 months. If updates or redemptions are not made within this timeframe, course fees paid will be non-refundable and non-transferable. All requests for updates should be submitted to The Mona Cut Academy via academy@themonacut.com.
